Anand Awasthi, 51, is the CEO & founder of Avhan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Avhan is a leading Cloud Communication and Contact Center Technology Software Platform company.

Anand is responsible for all strategic and marketing initiatives of the firm and giving direction to the organization. He is a self-made person with a passion for achievement with over 30 years of experience in the field of IT and Telecom.

Anand completed his Bachelors of Science from Ruia College, Mumbai and Masters in Science in Bio-Physics from Cancer Research Institute, Tata Hospital. He then completed his Master's in Management Studies at Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Anand has been independent right from the age of 18 – he started working as liaison agent for a Delhi-based shipping company. Within a year, he expanded operations and added 4 international clients. Post his academic studies, Anand was convinced about the growth opportunities and relevance of Telecom sector in Asia. He set up Avhan Enterprises in Bombay, to deal in telecom & communication infrastructure for corporates. While running this company in Bombay, Anand pursued a course in Multimedia education from CDAC –Advanced Computing School, Pune.

Anand has also been a Technology – Management consultant to several Indian and Multinational companies on developing strategy and design for Customer Interaction Management Technology implementation in India. Today, Avhan Technologies Pvt. Ltd is at the forefront on building the next generation Cloud Communication Framework to integrate telephony, social and Digital communications with business applications and Internet. The framework covers Big-data integration and the Internet of Things… Currently the framework from Avhan is absolutely path breaking in terms of its impact across the globe…

His personal interests include sailing, listening to classical music, Jazz, Travelling and observing people from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. He believes in using these interest to humanize people and technology interaction.
